Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne
A pretty little village located at the bottom of a typical Jura countryside, Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is a haven of peace and calm. Surrounded by cliffs and forests, Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is a place where freshness is always present, notably thanks to the Source du Lison, a magnificent resurgence from a karst system one of the largest in France.
Stroll through the village, discover its church, its fruit farm and the famous Taillanderie where scythes and tools were once made.
Salins-les-Bains
Famous Jura spa town, Salins-les-Bains is about 10 minutes from Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne.
Dominated by two forts, it extends across a valley where the Furieuse, a pretty little river, flows. Take advantage of your visit to Salins-les-Bains to visit the Salines, listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
Salins-les-Bains is also famous for its earthenware factories. Absolutely worth visiting!
Ornans
A small town in Doubs, Ornans is an important cultural and tourist center, with no less than a dozen registered or classified monuments. It is also the birthplace of the painter Gustave Courbet.
You can visit the museum dedicated to him, as well as stroll and cross the bridges which span the Loue, a river famous for trout fishing.
